We are looking for driven and passionate people who crave adventure, have the ability to work remotely, and are interested in seeing and bettering the world. Our community is the heart of the YonderWork experience so we are selecting candidates that can share unique perspectives and skills. If you view life as having limitless opportunities and don’t feel bound by conventional rules and wisdom, YonderWork is for you. Entrepreneurs, consultants, writers, designers, and other remote workers are encouraged to apply.
+ What unique benefits can participants get from YonderWork, that regular, self-imposed ‘workcation’ can’t provide?
A common complaint among traveling remote workers and digital nomad types is loneliness on the road. We are also aware that many mid-level professionals are interested in continued education and professional growth, but perhaps not at the high cost of traditional university models. YonderWork provides a diverse and intellectual community as well professional development workshops and talks so that remote workers can enjoy companionship and grow their skillsets and networks. We also take care of all the painful logistics and travel planning so that participants can focus on their work in creative workspaces and enjoy the best parts of travel.

The YonderWork experience is transformative. It introduces you to new ways of thinking and a community of innovative professionals who will help you find the edge of your comfort zone and encourage you to take the next leap.
Unlike traditional education models, our learning programs are hands-on, teaching skills that meet the demands of the 21st century. We bring in forward thinkers, startup voices, corporate executives, and social impact leaders. Since you are working simultaneously, you will be able to immediately put your learning into action.
+ WHY TWO MONTHS?
Two months in each country provides enough time to connect to the community, explore the local landscape, take a side-trip in the region, or improve a language skill. We feel that moving locations more frequently than this can be disruptive to work and doesn’t allow you to have as rich of an experience.
+ WHAT IS THE COST?
Cost varies by location and requires a down payment to hold your spot, with the remainder of the payment due one month prior to your arrival in-country. In order to build a strong community dynamic and ensure a productive work environment, we invest in scouting our locations, professional development facilitation, quality accommodations and workspaces, and full-time organizers for each group.
+ WHAT IS THE SIZE OF EACH GROUP?
Each YonderWork experience will have a group size of no more than 30 participants to maintain an intimate group dynamic. We intentionally keep our groups small in size, but huge in a desire to explore the world and experience all that life has to offer.
+ IS THERE A DISCOUNT FOR SIGNING UP FOR MORE THAN ONE EXPERIENCE?
Yes, if you participate in multiple experiences, we will provide a $150 discount off of each additional experience.
+ IS TRAVEL/MEDICAL INSURANCE INCLUDED?
Travel and medical insurance is not included in the cost but it’s a good idea to have travel insurance in case something goes wrong. We love World Nomads for travel insurance.
+ WHAT DOES PREMIUM LODGING INCLUDE?
Premium lodging includes your own fully furnished private bedroom, private bathroom, air conditioning, and weekly cleaning. Lodging accommodations vary by location and can be a private studio, a 1-bedroom apartment, or a bedroom in a multiple-room apartment or villa. Some of our accommodations also have pools, roof-decks, bicycles, and other select amenities.
+ DO I NEED TO HAVE A REMOTE WORKING JOB?
Yes, in order to be eligible to participate in the YonderWork experience, you need to have a remote working job.
+ WHO WILL BE THE EXPERIENCE LEADERS?
The co-founders Kristin and Nick travel with each group and are available for support 24/7.
